The purpose of establishing a dealerships’ status as Dealer Verified is multi-layered. It enables us to distribute this status to the wireless carriers to remove ‘Scam’ or ‘Fraud’ classifications of phone numbers within the call blocking and labeling ecosystem by proving your legitimacy (setting you apart from the fraudulent bad actors).

Yes! By registering all of the phone numbers your dealership uses for outbound calling, you will receive access to ongoing reporting of how your phone numbers are labeled across the top wireless carriers. This phone number reputation data lets you know when/if a phone number becomes marked as spam so we can help remedy this with the carriers and get the spam label corrected/removed.

Yes, we can register all of the numbers within your dealership or business!

Calls that display a checkmark at the time of call or in the call history log represent the establishment of the caller as a legal and verified calling party confirmed via STIR/SHAKEN. The identity of the caller has been vetted and validated and you can trust that the caller is who they say they are and the number hasn’t been illegally spoofed.

While in the short run it may seem like this will help, if you don’t switch your calling habits, you’ll find the next number will be flagged too. By registering your numbers we can stop it from happening altogether and you will be able to manage your number reputation.

External to the STIR/SHAKEN call authentication framework are 3rd party algorithms deployed at the wireless carrier level which are known as call reputation analytics. The analytics have been deployed across mobile networks since late 2017 and are responsible for calls labeled as “Potential Spam,” “Spam,” “Scam,” “Scam Likely,” “Fraud Alert,” etc.

These technologies will continue to be deployed in parallel with STIR/SHAKEN, so if you’re hearing reports from your agents that your calls are ringing through as a “Spam” or equivalent, this is due to reputational analytics, not STIR/SHAKEN.

Dealer Identity can help clean up your number reputation and address phone numbers labeled as ‘Scam’ or ‘Spam’.

We will verify all the numbers that show the customer who is calling.

Yes, the reporting can be looked at for an entity as a whole or can be broken down as you wish.

We do offer Branded Calling, which is separate from the number registration. Registering your numbers and cleaning up your reputation is the first step, as even if you have a logo turned on it won’t show up if your calls come up as spam.

No, as the carrier the customers are using will be the one to flag your calls. You need to clean up your calling reputation so the carriers trust your calls and connect you with your customers every time.
